We intend to appear at the following events in 2008:

   
  5 & 6 July - Royal Gunpowder Mills, Essex (Multi-period Event)
 

A family weekend of activities from various re-enactment groups throughout history. Includes Discovering Medieval, World War I and II, Home Front and Victorian events. Not sure which event interests you? Then come along for the day and see a little of everything. Plenty of hands on things to do for children.

  19 & 20 July - Festival of History (English Heritage)
 

Kelmarsh Hall, Northamptonshire. The UK’s biggest historical event promises even more drama and excitement than ever before as this year, for the first time ever, no less than nine screaming World War I Fighter planes take to the skies and perform daredevil displays in their most dramatic event yet! The Festival is open from 9.30am to 6pm on both days.

Blasts from the Past! The National Trust's premier historical event!

  6 December - Newhaven Fort (Christmas Fair)
 

Come and join them for their annual Christmas fair at the Fort. Highlights include -

A Christmas grotto by the Churches of Newhaven, Christmas themed Punch and Judy at 12:00 & 14:00, Christmas Card workshops 11:30 - 15:00, Fair Ground Rides, Vivace Ditchling Christmas Choir, Newhaven Marching Band, Newhaven Fort Exhibits, Seasonal Food & Drink - plus us!

21 December - Royal Gunpowder Mills (Victorian Christmas Experience)

 

The Royal Gunpowder Mills has pleasure in inviting you to join us to experience a Victorian Christmas.

A family day of activities. Participate in Victorian games, learn about the food and gifts, meet Colonel Brackenbury and his family as they celebrate Christmas.
